Summer could feel her left eye literately twitch, nimble fingers curled in slightly to her palms; she really had no reaction to this little predicament and now Charles was effectively distracted when his icy blue eyes fled up as the Vesper youth charged at the wraith. This gave little Annabelle a window to strike and she wasn’t going to miss it; not this time. Damn to the rest of them.
The Hirudos prepared herself once again, amber eyes gleaming with that adrenaline of hunt and she snaked her tongue out to smooth over her lips when she coiled her body and unleashed herself to spring. Lips agape and fangs gleaming, hands extended, little Annabelle lunged at the human girl with the sure intent to kill.

Robin cursed aloud as Toby hit him and he fell backwards onto his human. John had already braced himself and Robin practically bounced off of the mortal. He grabbed for the vesper and held tightly, trying to fend him off. He wasn't really fighting back since his size and arm length gave him a slight advantage. He saw Annabelle make her move out of the corner of his eye and cried out "Little John! Save Maid Marian!"
Unable to do nothing but his master's bidding, John pushed himself in front of the woman just as Annabelle approached. There would be no way that she wouldn't hit him, he knew that, but... He figured he'd be killed by a vampire either way.
From the doorway, a groan emerged. Mit stood there, an arrow stuck through her neck, but not too much worse for the wear. She stumbled into the chapel once more, limping. "Tooooeeee" she managed to speak before falling to her knees. Evidently, Robin had done a number on her.
(ooc: you can kill little john if you wish)

Toby swung at Robin still, connecting a few blows though size obviously not on his size. He stopped though, looking up quickly as he saw Mit and he calmed some before seeing her state, he growled and punched at Robin one last hard time before running over to Mit quickly.
"Why didn't you do as I said," he mumbled quietly, looking over her wounds quietly though the arrow in her neck bothering him the most. He pulled a knife out of his pocket quietly. He always carried the thing though it was mostly unknown why. "Hold still. This'll hurt a bit," he said quietly before he held the end of the arrow at her neck so it wouldn't move too much before he sliced the end off it quickly and tried to pull it out from the other side carefully and quickly so he wouldn't harm his pet. "Don't you ever disobey one of my orders again, okay?" he tried to snap at her though his words came out gently and softly toward Mit.

Nel planted her feet an pushed backwards, half launching herself out through the window. She hit the ground and tumbled for a few seconds before managing to reach an almost vertical position, and begin to run, making a dash down the hill, boots crunching across the dead grass.
Course, there wans;t really anywhere to run to, but anywhere but this place seemed good.

Annabelle only halted for just a moment, head inclining to one side -slowly- studying the human creature. She had been interrupted in her attempt to kill that girl, again, and she was met with an annoying interference, again. Her amber eyes were spinning with a maddening rage as she went on with her pursuit and grabbed the human male with her tiny, adolescent hands.
Summer drew her breath in sharply as more blood filled her nose, Charles was at her side in an instant; choosing not to starve Annabelle’s hunger anymore- it was them or the human. So the little Hirudos bared her venomous fangs with a hiss, jaws prying open and curling around the human’s neck; it didn’t take her long to dab at his neck with her tongue and savor that longing spearing through her body. Annabelle’s bite was deadly and there was no hope for this Wraith’s human and Summer and Charles knew this when the vampire bit into her given prey; albeit it wasn’t the girl but this morsel would suffice.
Her venom was a horrid toxin that spread on through, her nails and hands tore at his arms; every bite dripped more poison into the human’s system, She completely ravaged and mutilated his flesh and only stopped long enough to drop him and wipe the blood and saliva from her mouth before she went back to her new quarry and tore at his neck once more.

Little John screamed in agony as the fangs ripped into him. The venom burned as it entered his system, he continued to try to scream, but blood bubbled from his lips as he cried for his master.
Robin flinched from the blow and watched indifferently as his servant was torn to bits by the vampire. In fact, he only watched for a few seconds before turning to Toby. "See? She's all right, just like I said. No use getting worried over nothing, that's what I always say." He turned his head back to John as the limp body fell to the ground.
John couldn't move; only his eyes shown for a few more seconds a brightness, a terror, then they dulled, became lifeless. A long, slow breath exited his body and then there was nothing. Robin shook his head. "That's the sixteenth Little John I've gone through," he said sadly. "It's getting harder and harder to find replacements..." He shook his head, scratched the back of his neck, and promptly began to look for his Maid Marian.
"Marian? Where'd you go?" He looked out the broken window and saw her, then jumped out after her. "Hey! Wait! I want to save you!" he cried out.
Mit looked up at her master lovingly as he pulled out the arrow. Her eyes flinched only a little, but she was smiling, completely unaware of the trouble and worry she'd caused Toby. As the arrow was pulled out, she extended her arms and hugged him tightly. He always took such good care of her...

Toby glared toward the wraith, still angry with the other vampire.
"You're lucky I don't still fight you for doin' that. You told me you had her head in a bag! I should've killed you!" he hissed quickly at the man before looking back toward Mit and he smiled some, seeing her smile. He gave out a small breath as Mit hugged him though and hugged her back for a moment before frailing. "Mit. Too little," he reminded her quickly before h e noticed there was still a sharp pain in his shoulder though he did his best to ignore it.

"At the moment I'm saving myself!" Nel cried, glancing back as she half ran, half stumbled down the hill, dodging tumbling gravestones. She was almost at the bottom when, like some ridiculous horror movie cliche, a hand burst from and open grave, grasping her ankle and sending her staggering forwards. She hit the ground, to see a ragged greyish figure rise out of the ground behind her, a broken femur bone clasped in one hand. It was a small, hunched over figure with wide grey eyes peering through strands of unruly hair. A necklace hung round its neck, made from finger-bones, the centrepiece being a canine skull. This was a ferin, one of the bone-eaters...and it was a little surprise about being disturbed.

Annabelle was in her moment of glee and lust, her fingers curled around the now dead human's wrist and brought them to her fangs where she dug into the flesh and veins; savoring the taste as it bathed her tongue and glands. Blood had stained her simplistic white gown, spattering out and down over her small stature, and bathed her knees in red. Annabelle feasted on the dead, disregarding all sense of life, even when Charles and Summer fled past the Hirudos and went into pursuit at the human girl and the wraith.
It was best to say they were hungry as well.
Summer’s long braid swept out behind her, Charles’s icy eyes burning as they came up upon the girl being in the grasp of a Ferin. Summer debated over who to attack, it would seem to be the better way to lunge for the girl, or perhaps smash in the Ferin’s cranium- either way- someone was going to die, again, tonight.

Robin acted quickly. His heel quickly connected with the Ferin's head and he ripped the tombstone out of the ground and brought it crashing on top of the monster. "NO!" he screamed angrily. He was going to save Maid Marian whether anyone else wanted him to or not. He paused for a second, looked back to Summer and Charles. It looked like this battle was one he was going to lose. He'd lost his right-hand man, and now he was fighting two Ictus and a Ferin. Blast.
"Now listen here, friends," he said as he continued to hit the Ferin in the head with the tombstone. "Can't you let a man have his peace? Your friend already took my Little John." He was clearly getting annoyed.
Mit quickly released Toby and rose to her feet. She wobbled for a second, then touched his arm lightly. He was hurt. That was no good. She licked the wound on his shoulder, hoping that her saliva would at least heal him a little bit, maybe take away some pain.
She looked over to the dead body, then towards the broken window where everyone else fled, then back at Toby as if to say What do we do now? There were at least two humans who still had a little blood in them, and that would help Toby heal quicker.

Toby smiled up at her and shivered some when he licked his wound. He sighed as he touched it for a moment and winced, looking around himself.
"I'm going after Robin Hood out there...he'll pay," he said simply before looking up toward Mit and giving a light smile. "And no worries, I'll be fine. It's not as if it'll kill me or anything," he pointed out quietly as he headed for the window himself now.

The ferin emitted a gasped yelp of protest and alarm before falling to the ground, hands over its face, the bone talisman shaking and snapping from the impact. Being one of the smaller, more brittle vampires, the creature really did not know what hit it, particularly when it was clear that its eyes were a cloudy color, signifying badly formed lenses.
Nel retreated a few yards and drew to a halt, stopping to catch her breath and watch all that was going on.

Summer didn't have time for this, just kill the damn human already and drain her dry, hell she'd probably steal that pretty little face. It was time for a change anyways. So she flipped her long braid over her bare, slender shoulder and sauntered on over to the human girl, leaving Charles to answer dear Robin Hood's inquiry.
"Annabelle was hungry and your human got into the way; simple as that." Charles said in his deeply toned voice, stolen voice at that. The Ictus drew his icy eyes towards Summer, half expecting her to crush the youth with her boots, perhaps she would smash the heel into her temple?
-x-
Annabelle still remained with her kill, relishing within his death as she promptly buried her face into his completely mutilated neck. Her amber eyes followed the little Vesper and his Cruor beast, she could follow them, Summer and Charles could've used her assistance... But then, she had a perfect meal right here; it was all just dandy.

Robin kicked the Ferin hard enough to at least incapacitate it for a few minutes and sighed. "Isn't one human dead enough for tonight?" he asked. His eyes turned to Summer and they squinted. "I'm sure Little John has more than enough blood to fill you two up, and if not..." He reached for a water bottle that was attached to his belt and threw it to Summer. "I have some left over from the last Little John."
He stepped backwards, towards Nel. "Maid Marian, you might need to keep running. You can take my horse, I'll meet you back at the castle." He clenched his fists and held them up towards Charles. "But if it's a fight you want, it's a fight you'll get." Very heroic for someone who was sure he'd be outnumbered. Plus, that little vampire was heading his way, too.
Mit followed Toby eagerly, licking her lips. She was beginning to get hungry again, and though the human looked tempting, there was a surplus of vampires. Maybe she'd go after one of them? Some part of her brain told her that cannibalism was taboo, but it was too faint, too vague to even matter. Her eyes were set on the easiest target. The only question was... which one would it be?
