Hell, I agree. I've had this happened in a rp before. They make their character the damn "leader of the WORLDS" and have an invisible indestructible shield and can fly and... Your character is suddenly at their mercy and dying and pleading for them to stop and you haven't posted yet.

ahahaha, that sucks. Generally if something like that happens I'll throw in my character Lorraine, who will reveal that the character's entire power was actually an illusion she created and mindfuck the shit out of them.

Heh... I saw a really interesting one. Someone was supposed to be the girl a prince was interested in, and the whole role play was centered on her. And someone came in, played the prince, and then made him gay, and made him tell her that she was the catalyst for his discovery that he just hated women. That amused me. Of course, she was like WTF, and my character was like 0_o; *runs away from argument to avoid getting stuck in the middle*.

Ahahaha that sounds like something I would do so much.
Usually I'll join one of those 'x male vampires captures x female humans' as a vampire who is completely gay and will usually just beat the poor chick and use her for housework, etc etc etc while he fucks his boy-toy.

Just a random note the reason why were wolves and vampires are always fighting is because through out the history of their mythology they are against each other. As of late it's because of the fact that werewolves are more spiritual creatures they have souls but vampires do not and are well suppose to be completely evil. That and it gives people something to do, it's your typical I want to be supernatural you want to be supernatural so we each pick one oh lets add drama they are fighting ...it's your basic -I have to creativity- plot.

Thing is though, vampire and werewolf myths don;t mention it. Vampires used to be reported as having thwe ability to take the form of a wolf, and Dracula loved wolves. He referred to them as the 'Children of the Night'. It's only very recently that people have decided that they fight.

Exactly, Vit. Is it ok if I call you Vit? Aha.
It's something that Hollywood took and ran with, and so people have decided to go crazy with it.

Oh my god, I saw that one with the gay prince! I was lurking at the time. I loved how she couldn't come up with a decent response. And how she wouldn't role play with any of the other characters... And how she forgot to post the setting... I had just finished a paragraph about how my character was jumpy and skittish and afraid of his own shadow because he was afraid of crossing the wrong person and being subjected to medieval torture, and then suddenly she decides to let us know it was in modern times. Yeah... But the gay prince amused me.

Yeah, call me Vit,it's a lot easier.
Yeah, I think Hollywood just got into the mindset of 'Monsters should FIGHT! People like things that fight!' I reckon it wold be a lot scarier if they teamed up, then again vampire/werewolf films aren't usually scary...other than Let the Right One In. That was freak...but Hollywood are going to eat that too.
Yeah, the royal RP was funny.I was going out at the time so I didn;t have time to join it, which is a pity as I love messing with royal RPs. Saying that I think nothing would outdo the gay prince.
I do have fun sometimes snagging princess roles in royal RPs and playing a character who is spoiled, vain, obsessive and batshit insane half the time....probably inbred too. Like most european royalty.
I mean seriously, if you were brought up in a place where people pander to your every whim, people aren;t allowed to question you, and your family have been marrying its cousins for generations amassing impressive collections of genetic defects, would you really be a beautiful down to earth young thing who is so desperate to live like a peasant?
I wouldn't, Id be making poor people fight for my amusement.

The whole werewolves vs vampires thing might have started with Underworld(Or at least that's the first movie I remember seeing that had them fighting each other) but it actually had a decent reason for why they were fighting

I WOULD TOO, VIT. Make those peasants kill each other!
But you have such a good point, I never thought about the inbred angle before. I'll have to use that sometime as one of the princes.

Well it was a big problem at one point I think, as you simply couldn;t marry out of royalty, and half the countries were at war with one another, so the royal families were intermarrying a whole lot.
Plus quite a few of them were insane. King George the Third tried to adopt a pillow as a sun and would end every sentence with the word 'peacock', Elenor of Castille would take the mummified body of her dead husband everywhere and get angry if any other women looked at him...there were some strange, strange royals.
